Why we will love you:

• You have proven advanced training in strategic communications or equivalent
• 3-5 years’ experience of both external and internal communication
• It is desirable to have experience in creating communication for multiple markets
• Up-to-date knowledge of Serbian media landscape (including the latest trends in social media), activation and measuring results
• Strong knowledge of using insights to formulate communication, plans and activities to meet business and receiver needs
• Up to date knowledge of how to lead communication by defining, planning, executing and follow-up communication to relevant target groups and stakeholders
• Proactive attitude in problem solving and hands-on approach when necessary
• Energized by working both independently and interdependently with communication network and cross functions
• You have strong communication skills in English both spoken and written

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

• Responsible to develop, execute, follow up on different internal and external communication assignments
• Create integrated communication content (press releases, message houses, Q&A, etc.) that support the regional IKEA SEE communication plan and the prioritized communication messages to strongly position IKEA as a truly meaningful & trusted brand in people’s hearts & minds
• Contribute to the regional IKEA SEE Press Office and development of the media relations
• Create and execute media/stakeholder engagement strategies for reactive, proactive and activist communication
• Enable effective internal communication and assist in the creation of prerequisites for our leaders and co-workers to be our best ambassadors
• Empower IKEA leaders to be inspiring communicators – identify, train and support IKEA SEE spokespersons on delivering effective and appropriate communication
• Monitor and analyse media to measure results as well as identify proactive opportunities and potential risk issues
• Act on all negative publicity and potential reputational issues
