Digital Project Manager

As a Digital Project Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing projects, such as campaigns, platforms, web and mobile applications. You will act as liaison between the client and our internal team, analyze customer requirements and translate them into detailed briefings for relevant agency teams. Your opinion will count and you must serve as an advisor to clients, provide recommendations and direct clients toward ideal concepts and solutions. Thus, in-depth knowledge of digital development processes, trends and the future of the industry is a must. Monitoring project quality and progress, you will be responsible for meeting milestones, reporting and evaluating results.

You will dive right into your role, contributing to the office both strategically and organizationally.

We’re looking for people who live for communication and love to collaborate. The right candidate is an independent person who can think across industries, has strong organizational skills, can handle multiple projects at once and last, but not least, is a team player who values camaraderie and humor. You can express yourself well both face-to-face and over the phone, and bring with you a minimum of 2 years experience from a similar agency. Ideally, you’ve had considerable exposure to clients and have strong sales skills and a network to match.

You feel right at home with collaborative work tools and transparency. On the strategic side, we favor the Google Apps, products from 37signals and the Office suite in our workflow so expertise with these tools is an advantage. Having a technological understanding of web technologies and mobile frameworks is a defining factor. We’re not looking for former coders but definitely someone who knows up from down and front-end from back-end when talking to our engineers and explaining the solution to our clients. Finally, you master German and English both orally and in writing.

Required skills and experience:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Expert knowledge of Office tools suite
• Work experience or a gap year placement in a similar position
• Keen interest in digital technologies
• Confident with working independently
• Keen attention to detail and accuracy

You will be required to:

• Oversee quality control from concept development through to project closure and operational handover
• Manage application build projects through internal and 3rd party Developers
• Manage internal and external test cycles throughout the project
• Manage internal teams output in accordance with client expectations
• Attend relevant meetings and follow up with contact reports
• Produce project documentation including site maps, wireframes, specifications, and schedules
