Associate SolidWorks Design Specialist

Dubak Elektro Group is seeking to hire an Associate Design Specialist for our office in Belgrade, Serbia. This individual would work closely with our Pre-Construction and Project Management teams in the United States designing drawings to support new or existing electrical systems for various construction projects. Due to the time difference in Serbia, the working hours for this position would be 10:00 am-18:00 pm CEST to enable collaboration and team efforts with our teams in the United States.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop and design 3D models of electrical components and systems using SolidWorks.
• Create detailed technical drawings and schematics for industrial electrical projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Perform design reviews and provide feedback to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Modify and update existing designs based on feedback and project changes.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs) and assembly instructions.
• Ensure all designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in SolidWorks and electrical engineering technologies.
• Assist in the production of electrical systems and help mitigate potential issues during the manufacturing process.
• Collaborate with engineering, Pre-construction, and other departments to ensure quality installations that adhere to time and budget expectations.
• Attend all project-related meetings.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by your manager or director.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of work experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in English (business language).
• Proficient knowledge with SolidWorks design software, use of tools such as Weldment, Sheet Metal Design.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD software.
• Knowledge of Revit and Navisworks is a plus, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work within tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
