Main duties:
- Leads all Environmental aspects in coordination with site team and the General manager
- Leads all Social aspects in coordination with the BCE EHS team
- Monitors and follows-up the Quality based on:
- Environmental Management system, generally in compliance with the latest version of ISO14001,
- IFI’s Requirements (especially EBRD Performance Requirements and IFC Performance standards)
- Coordinates QHSE plans and audits
- Implements and monitors corrective actions
- Prepare Accident / incident report when needed
- Coordinates environmental monitoring on site and relevant sample analysis regimes
- Monitors objectives and the QHSE key performance indicators
- Takes appropriate initial action to secure the staff and equipment in case of emergency events, report such events promptly in coordination with the VWVO management, the client and the authorities
- Assists VWVO management in creating and updating the Overall Services Delivery Plan
- Raises the staff awareness of environmental risks
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelor / Master degree / Environmental engineering or other relevant field
- Experience and practice on 14001 standard in industrial or civil works environment
- MC Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Ability to plan, analyze and summarize
- English: working level
