For one of our clients, we are looking for a proactive and service-oriented IT Help Desk Specialist to join a fast-growing software company that delivers customized business solutions to small and mid-sized clients across North America.

In this role, you will support both new and existing clients by assisting with onboarding, troubleshooting, and helping them fully utilize custom-built applications. You'll work across a dynamic platform that includes tools for recruiting (ATS), onboarding, and field management—all tailored to meet each client's specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to technical assistance requests via phone, email, or the ticketing system.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues for end users, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
  • Research complex technical problems and escalate them to the appropriate resources when necessary.
  • Document and track all Help Desk interactions, maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Administer and maintain Help Desk software to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Identify urgent issues and escalate them as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Monitor and manage requests, track progress, and ensure prompt issue resolution.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in customer support with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Professional, courteous, and customer-focused attitude
  • Proficient in Windows and macOS operating systems
  • Knowledge of standard Microsoft productivity tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Solid understanding of PC and Mac hardware
  • Experience working with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Jira, Freshdesk)
  • Familiarity with VPN setup and troubleshooting
  • Basic networking knowledge (e.g., IP configuration, connectivity issues)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements
  • Familiarity with typical internet applications (e.g., web browsers, streaming media)
  • Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines
