Safety Engineer

What you´ll do

• Identification of risks and hazards – Identification of potential sources of hazards in the work environment and risk assessment.
• Compliance with regulations and standards - Ensuring compliance with laws and standards in the field of safety and health at work; monitoring and implementation of all obligations from the law on emergency situations
• Development and implementation of safety measures - Proposing technical and organizational measures to prevent accidents and reduce risks.
• Investigation of incidents and accidents - Analyzing the causes of accidents and proposing corrective measures to prevent their recurrence.
• Employee training – Organizing and conducting training in the field of occupational safety, as well as raising awareness of the safety importance.
• Responding to emergency situations - Development and testing of response plans in case of fire, leakage of hazardous materials, natural disasters, etc.
• Supervision and Inspections - Regular checks of equipment, plant and procedures to ensure that they comply with safety standards.
• Record keeping – Keeping records of inspections, incidents, training and safety procedures.

What makes you a good fit

• Profession: Technical - safety at work, fire protection
• Work experience: min. 1 year in the same or similar jobs;
• Special requirements: Professional exam in the field of safety, occupational health and fire protection
• Desirable: Professional exam for performing the work of a contractor coordinator
• English language
• Computer skills (MS Office package);
• Ability to work in a team, flexibility and proactivity;
• Analytical abilities;
• Persistence, perseverance, independence in work and desire to work in a multinational team.
