About the role:
The Web Analyst will play a critical role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization by implementing, managing, and optimizing advanced digital analytics solutions—primarily using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and BigQuery. This role combines technical expertise withstrategic thinking to ensure robust data collection, insightful analysis, and actionable reporting on web and app performance. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Web Analyst will translate complex data into meaningful insights and recommendations that directly influence digital strategy, user experience, and marketing effectiveness.
What will you be doing?
- Develop and implement advanced GA4 tracking strategies, including custom events, parameters, and user properties.
- Manage and optimize Google Tag Manager (GTM) implementations and troubleshoot tagging issues.
- Design and enforce UTM tagging strategies for consistent and accurate campaign tracking.
- Integrate GA4 data with Google BigQuery and maintain efficient data pipelines and models.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance through rigorous validation and documentation practices.
- Build and maintain GA4 dashboards and reports tailored to stakeholder needs and KPIs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of user behavior and performance across websites and apps.
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and development teams to align data efforts with business goals.
- Oversee the integration of GA4 with CRM systems and advertising platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, Bing).
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree (Data Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science) or relevant experience
- Advanced user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Power point…) with expert knowledge of Excel
- Proven hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 setup and configuration, including custom events and enhanced measurement
- Strong experience using Google Tag Manager for implementation and debugging
- Solid knowledge of UTM tagging and digital campaign tracking best practices
- Proficiency in SQL and experience working with Google BigQuery for data manipulation and reporting
- Experience creating dashboards and reports using GA4's Explorations, Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or other BI tools
