About the role and the Team:
A visionary and highly analytical Digital Marketing Lead is needed to spearhead our in-house digital marketing efforts, focusing on comprehensive strategy, planning, and performance optimization across all digital channels. Success in this full-time role means defining and executing a holistic digital marketing strategy that drives measurable growth in order volume, enhances brand visibility, and maximizes ROI. This role will be pivotal in leading a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across all digital marketing activities, ultimately contributing significantly to overall business objectives by achieving ambitious paid digital media KPIs and streamlining integrated marketing processes.
What will you be doing?
- Digital Marketing Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee the overarching digital marketing strategy and annua/quarterly planning, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and marketing objectives.
- Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of digital marketing professionals (Paid Media Manager, Senior Digital Marketing Manager), fostering their growth and ensuring high performance. Drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement within the team.
- Paid Media Accountability: Own and drive accountability for all paid digital media KPIs, including but not limited to ROI, ROAS, CPA, and conversion rates across platforms like Meta, Google Ads, and Bing Ads.
- Channel Integration & Optimization: Ensure seamless integration and optimization across all digital marketing channels (paid, organic, email, content, etc.), identifying synergies and opportunities for cross-channel performance uplift.
- Roadmap Development: Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for the constant growth and enhancement of all digital channels, focusing on new features, betas, emerging technologies, and strategic initiatives.
- Budget Management: Oversee the effective management and strategic allocation of the entire digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal spend to achieve business objectives.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Establish robust reporting frameworks and lead the analysis of key performance indicators (KPIs) across all digital marketing activities, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders and board-level executives.
- Process Improvement & Operational Excellence: Establish and refine scalable processes for campaign setup, tracking, reporting, and optimization across the entire digital marketing function to ensure operational excellence and consistency. Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with senior leadership, internal marketing teams, creative teams, product teams, sales, and external partners to ensure seamless execution, strategic alignment, and effective communication of digital marketing initiatives, influencing decisions at all levels up to the board.
- Innovation & Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscapes, actively seeking out and testing new approaches to maintain a competitive edge and drive innovation within the team.
- Marketing Technology Stack Management: Strategically manage and optimize the marketing technology stack, including marketing automation platforms (MAPs), analytics tools, and other relevant platforms, to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Quality Assurance & Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and cleanliness of marketing data within all platforms, supporting effective segmentation, personalization, and reporting for comprehensive digital marketing efforts.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (E)
- Proficiency in web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) (E)
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles (E)
- 8+ years of progressive hands-on experience in digital marketing, with at least 5 years in a leadership or strategic role overseeing paid media and broader digital channels (E)
- Demonstrable experience in managing, motivating, and developing high-performing teams to deliver exceptional results in a fast-paced, consumer-centric commercial environment (E)
- Proven expertise across a variety of paid media platforms, including Meta Ads (Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram Ads), Google Ads (Search, Display, Shopping, YouTube), and Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads) (E)
- Demonstrable experience in developing and implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies that have driven significant measurable results (E)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, paid media strategies, ad formats, targeting options, bidding strategies, and attribution models (E)
- Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage a team of digital marketing professionals (E)
- Experience in developing and implementing strategic roadmaps for digital channels (E)
- Experience in optimizing digital marketing workflows and processes (E)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to marketing platforms and data (E)
- Experience in managing and optimizing marketing automation tools (E)
- Proven ability to deliver against ambitious targets and drive performance uplift (E)
