Experienced Automation (PLC/SCADA) Engineer

Init AN Group is a well-established engineering company with 45+ years of experience within production IT and automation for the machine and process industry. In July 2022 we merged into a new exciting productive partnership, initially with 4 other industry-related companies, and consisting today of 15 companies within Industrial IT and Automation, and 650 employees working from 34 offices across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Serbia, North Macedonia and Spain, known as Init.

We are now in the process of strengthening our automation team at Init AN Group Balkan office in Novi Sad, and we are looking for you who, as a PLC and/or SCADA programmer, have experience with controls of machines and process plants, and you recognize yourself as an

Experienced Automation (PLC/SCADA) Engineer

The position

The position is characterized by independence and freedom under self-responsibility, at the same time with a focus on collaboration, sparring and knowledge sharing with colleagues and the immediate manager. The tasks range from smaller tasks that are solved independently, possibly with the customer, to large projects where you become part of a team. In both cases, there is always a competent colleague ready to help and advise during the process.

Tasks can include any of the following:

• Project Management.
• Electrical technical clarification and specification.
• Calculations, analyses and planning.
• PLC, HMI and SCADA programming.
• Vision and robot programming.
• Commissioning, testing and running-in at customers (mostly abroad).
• Smaller service tasks in connection with delivered solutions.

Most of the planning, design and development work would be performed in the office in Novi Sad but please note that you are also expected to travel to the client sites for commissioning, testing and running-in, as well as for the consultations and planning meetings either at client site or in some of our offices in Denmark. For all the travel reasons combined you can expect about 100 travel days per year.

Your qualifications

You are qualified for this position if you recognize yourself in most of the following points:

• Broad knowledge of electrical engineering and automation in the machine and/or process industry.
• University degree in domain of Automation engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics…).
• 5+ years of experience with PLC, HMI or SCADA programming (e.g. Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, Beckhoff, Aveva).
• Good at communicating with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
• You work systematically and structured with your tasks.
• You are responsible and have good insight into complete solutions.
• Driver license category B.
• Confidently communicate in English, written and spoken.
