Duties & Responsibilities:
- Represent the company and take ownership of all quality-related topics within the project, including the APQP process. Serve as the primary contact for customers regarding quality tasks and act as the interface for addressing quality issues throughout the project phase.
- Review and ensure adherence to quality standards across projects and plants. Conduct process and product audits in both plant environments and project settings.
- Introduce, improve, and apply quality methods such as FMEA and Control Plans to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
- Lead investigations into root causes of quality issues throughout all project phases. Delegate tasks to appropriate team members and ensure timely follow-up to meet customer expectations regarding response time and investigation quality.
- Validate and ensure the effective implementation of corrective actions to address identified quality issues.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive 8D reports to customers, detailing the resolution of quality concerns.
- Analyze known failure modes to prevent their recurrence and implement preventive measures.
- Share lessons learned from field quality experiences with project teams to enhance overall quality practices.
- Support the establishment and agreement of quality targets with customers, ensuring alignment with their expectations.
Qualifications:
- University degree Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, or a related field
- Up to 2-3 years of work experience in the same or similar positions in automotiv industry
Specialized knowledge and skills:
- Proven experience in quality management, particularly within project environments
- Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, and Control Plans
- Strong analytical skills and experience in leading root cause investigations
- Excellent communication skills for effective customer interactions and team collaboration
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in the English language (written and spoken)
