For our pharmaceutical sector, we are currently looking for a Medical Advisor (M/F) on a permanent contract.
Overall purpose of job
Implement objectives of the Medical Affairs department to achieve overall organizational goals.
Participates in the design, development, review/approval and implementation of programs related to educational, promotional and reporting materials and events for the company products.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Participates in the design and implementation of medical affairs programs, including identification of critical paths, budget development and tracking of all projects
- Creates or localizes of medical education materials
- Organizes and participates in medical education events and advisory boards on country and international level
- Supports publication planning, preparation and review
- Provides medical training to internal and external stakeholders
- Provides medical review of promotional material
- Implement policies and procedures for development and provision of medical and technical information pertaining to the company's products for internal use by customers and by government
- Has overview of the medical budget, contract negotiation and vendor activities
- Provides solutions surrounding legal liability and compliance with government
- Maintains collaborative working relationship between medical affairs and internal stakeholders to deliver timely and expert support to product development
- Establishment and maintenance of close collaboration with KOLs in the respective field – on the field min 20%
- Support disease awareness campaigns including online

- He/she should have up-to-date knowledge and keep existing company procedures and related rules; detailed knowledge of HCBI SOPs and relevant finance processes is a must
- Ensuring safety reporting requirements (timely AE/PQC reporting) as set out in company policies and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) are met and appropriately managed when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors
- Ensuring HCC and legal requirements are fully understood, appropriately managed and complied with when planning projects, developing materials, executing projects and contracting vendors
- Ensuring inspection readiness with respect to personal training compliance, and availability of a recent CV and individualized job
Requirements (knowledge, education, skills)
- Education: University / bachelor’s degree or Equivalent, preferably in a relevant medical-related discipline
- Experienced in Medical Affairs or Market Access management (min. 2 years)
- Understanding HC financing system, health related public service and pharmaceutical industry
- Location and mobility: 70% local office based/ 30% travel
- Excellent Project management skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral, business writing, presenting and listening)
- Regulatory Affairs and Quality experience
- Strong analytical, communication, decision-making and leadership skills for interaction with external and internal customers and partners
- Native local speaker and fluent English knowledge (both spoken and written)
- High level of ethical standards in business
- Honest, trustworthy personality
- Leadership, Empathy, Open communication, leading by example
- Working knowledge of multiple therapeutic areas, oncology / hematology especially
- Professional experience from pharmaceutical business environment
- Ability to navigate and produce results in a global, matrix organization, strong cross-departmental support, interdisciplinary approach
