Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP) is part of the Central European Aluminium Company (CEAC), which was created to manage the assets of EN + Group in Central-Eastern Europe.  KAP is the biggest industrial corporation in Montenegro and represents 51% of the Montenegrin export.

One of the key initiatives of our work is environmental protection and thus we are searching for a successful candidate who is motivated and goal oriented for the position of:

Enviromental Manager

Podgorica

Responsibilities:

• Organization and development of the system of management of environment in KAP

 Main duties:

• Organizes the system and reporting control on emissions and contamination of soil and water
• Communicates with relevant government institutions dealing with environment
• Prepares and implements necessary policies and procedures for the functioning of the environmental management
• Controls implementation of all required standards within the plant
• Controls implementation of ISO standards in the Company
• Follow the legal framework and is acquainted with all environmental laws of the Republic of Montenegro
• Lobbying and protection of Companies interest in environmental management

Qualifications & work experience:

• University degree (technical, metallurgical, chemical)
• Theoretical knowledge (chemical)
• Strong character with excellent communication and organizational skills
• Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment
• Minimum 3 (three) years of managerial work experience in aluminium, metallurgical/steel or chemical industry
• Experience in relationship with public sector and specialist organizations
• Knowledge of positive environmental laws
• Experience (best practice projects) in protection of Companies interests
• Excellent knowledge of English & PC skills. Knowledge of Russian will be considered as an advantage but is not obligatory
