Aluminium Plant Podgorica (KAP) is part of the Central European Aluminium Company (CEAC), which was created to manage the assets of EN + Group in Central-Eastern Europe. KAP is the biggest industrial corporation in Montenegro and represents 51% of the Montenegrin export.
One of the key initiatives of our work is environmental protection and thus we are searching for a successful candidate who is motivated and goal oriented for the position of:
Enviromental Manager
Podgorica
Responsibilities:
- Organization and development of the system of management of environment in KAP
Main duties:
- Organizes the system and reporting control on emissions and contamination of soil and water
- Communicates with relevant government institutions dealing with environment
- Prepares and implements necessary policies and procedures for the functioning of the environmental management
- Controls implementation of all required standards within the plant
- Controls implementation of ISO standards in the Company
- Follow the legal framework and is acquainted with all environmental laws of the Republic of Montenegro
- Lobbying and protection of Companies interest in environmental management
Qualifications & work experience:
- University degree (technical, metallurgical, chemical)
- Theoretical knowledge (chemical)
- Strong character with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment
- Minimum 3 (three) years of managerial work experience in aluminium, metallurgical/steel or chemical industry
- Experience in relationship with public sector and specialist organizations
- Knowledge of positive environmental laws
- Experience (best practice projects) in protection of Companies interests
- Excellent knowledge of English & PC skills. Knowledge of Russian will be considered as an advantage but is not obligatory
