WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Manager Repair Line who will be leading operation work centers in the repair shop in accordance with committed objectives (with executive management).

TASKS

• Leading the organizational unit accordingly to committed objectives 
• Use, application, testing, adaptation and optimization of repair procedures for the overhaul of aircraft engine parts at competitive conditions regarding costs, quality and deadlines.
• Leading manual and mechanical repair processes of the repair line
• The adaptation, modification and optimization of future-oriented manual and machining repair processes and systems.
• Translating the targets into action, methods and strategies so that the required values in terms of quality, product costs, turnaround time on time delivery are achieved and constantly improved.
• Ensure trouble-free production in accordance with the valid regulations, such as equipment, machines, material, tools, personnel, technical documentation, qualification, etc..
• The optimization of repair, process and inspection procedures
• The planning, control and economic performance of repairs adhering to given schedules including the documentation of work carried out
• Participate in the identification of environmental aspects and hazard and risk assessment
• The definition of the necessary control measures regarding significant environmental aspects and unacceptable risks;
• Supporting in the development of existing employees, succession planning and recruiting of new staff
• The guiding, initial and continuation training of all employees within the department
• Supervise and motivate team to maintain quality, safety, and KPI targets at required level

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree 
• Several years of management experience in a similar position
• Experience in a start-up environment
• Knowledge of chemical processes desired
• Knowledge of engine technology and aviation regulations desired
• Lean Management experience/ successful implementation of Lean projects in production desired
• MRO experience desirable
• Excellent management and communication skills; teamwork orientation, good analytical and organisational abilities, disciplinary power, creative and decision making
• Leadership competency - Coaching, developing, mentoring, or otherwise supporting the team to improve their knowledge, skills and performance; Providing guidance and direction to the team, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• MS Office, SAP
• Fluent English
