Vorwerk Autotec is a global developer, manufacturer, and distributor of rubber bushes and bearings for automotive suspension components. To strengthen the Vorwerk Autotec Serbia team in Čačak, we are looking for a  

Mechanical Lab Technician (m/f)   

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out all lab measuring tasks, CMM, tensile testing, roughness, Shore-A, compression set, in-process checks, incoming inspection tests
• Creation and edition of measuring programs /routines for repeated tests/measurements
• Information / Reporting of results in the desired format with other functions and sites
• Develop and maintain a calibration system for VAC
• Coordination and prioritization of measurements
• Carry-out of measuring tasks and prepare results
• Optimization of measurement tasks
• Proficient use of all  equipment in the laboratory
• Selection of correct measuring device for specific tasks
• MSA studies/calibration of test equipment VAC
• Suggesting improvements for the development of measurements to HQ and local functions
• Support VAC in the design of special measurement equipment

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Must be extremely detailed oriented and able to carefully follow verbal and written test procedures
• Hands-on mentality
• Good understanding of technical drawings / GD&T
• Good understanding of lab and calibration requirements IATF 16949 and automotive customers
