We are looking for:
Sales Representative
Responsible to achieve sales targets of all Monsanto products at the Serbian
market strongly cooperating with Serbian Monsanto Distributors and their
sub-distributors; generating the demand at farmers level. Supports sales
through technical assistance to farmers and product promotion at farmer and
sub-distributor level (trials and presentations):
- Promote Monsanto portfolio at farmer and sub-distributor level in a strong cooperation with Distributor sales force and reporting about his activities to Sales manager: (Daily visits of customers and product promotion. Follow up product development at farmers fields in comparison with competition; DEMO and SBS trials settling, following plants development, measuring yields, organizing field days and public harvestings, as well as trial harvestings and data collection; Preparation of winter meetings, making “Power Point” presentation and doing oral presentations in front of farmers/sub-distributors; Preparation of marketing tools = catalogs, leaflets, product technical descriptions…;)
- Develops and implements marketing initiatives at local level in agreement with Sales manager.
- Actively contributes to analyze local market needs and suggest changes or improvements to distribution strategy and farmers segmentation.
- Collaborates in verifying technical positioning new products/competitors
- Is responsible for transfer the company image to farmers/sub-distributors level
- POG and sales follow up
- Maintains and develop relationship with the customers.
- Contribute, implement and follow-up according to Monsanto’s guidance and compliance (Business conduct, FCPA, Pledge)
- Provide Monsanto with the necessary market intelligence required for the commercial success of our business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Agronomy or relevant
- 2-3 years of experience in sales roles, preferably selling agro products or in direct sales
Personal skills:
- Results oriented
- Customer oriented
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Enjoys working in a team
- Able to work with autonomy and willing to travel intensively on business
- Able to prioritize
Technical skills:
- Valid driver’s license and experience
- Basic English (preferably)
