Job description:

• Provide accurate interpretation between Chinese and English languages during meetings, conferences, and other business-related events.
• Assist in translating written documents, such as emails, reports, and presentations, from Chinese to English and vice versa.
• Conduct research and gather information to ensure accurate understanding and interpretation of technical terms and industry-specific jargon.
• Act as a cultural liaison, helping to bridge the communication gap between Chinese and English-speaking colleagues and clients.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive information and discussions.
• Collaborate with other interpreters and translators to ensure consistent and accurate interpretation across different languages.
• Provide language support during negotiations, contract signings, and other business-related activities.
• Continuously improve language skills and cultural knowledge through professional development opportunities and self-study.

Qualification & Skills:

• BA or MA, Faculty of Philology, majoring in Chinese language.
• Capacity for both individual and collaborative work.
• 1+ years of professional and recent translation AND interpretation experience.
• Experience translating high complex and technical info.
