Production Planner

About this role:

We are looking for a motivated and responsible Production Planner for new and series products to join our team in the Assembly department. Your Profile:

• University degree in Economics, Management, Traffic, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
• Extensive experience working with SAP
• Experience with MES systems is a plus
• Familiarity with LEAN tools (3F, 5S, TPM, FIFO etc.)
• Advanced knowledge of English

Your Responsibilities:

• Convert production plans into raw material and component needs (MRP planning)
• Create purchase orders to suppliers in line with deadlines and requirements
• Ensure timely material deliveries to support production
• Optimize material flow while considering inventory targets and storage capacity
• Maintain stock levels and avoid excess or obsolete materials
• Prepare and monitor quarterly, monthly, and weekly production plans
• Align production planning with sales forecasts and market trends
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products
• Adjust production plans based on process changes
• Plan optimal use of production capacities
• Generate and analyze weekly/monthly production reports (Planned vs. Actual)
• Monitor and define optimal batch sizes in production
• Maintain and update SAP master data related to production planning
• Act as end user for the MES/Hydra software system
