Overview of tasks and responsibilities

Description of duties

  1. 1.      General
    1. Develop and administer human resources strategy and plans of DPM in Serbia
    2. Assist Senior management in implementing human resources processes to support and develop DPM and all its subsidiaries in Serbia
    3. Ensure recruitment to support ongoing projects and exploration and organizational development plans
    4. Ensure legal compliance and administration of al human resources related dossiers, archives and working documentation
    5. Assist DPM management in planning human resources related project budgets and forecasts
    6. Track and report on the status of human resources in the organization and present/update management monthly
  1. Legal and administration
    1. Ensure legal compliance of personnel dossiers and documentation, contracts archives, professional permitting archives and renewals etc.
    2. Organize and ensure timely contracts monitoring, renewals, administration, archiving, and registering with government bodies
    3. Maintain register with the National Employment Agency and other government bodies
    4. Maintain register of holidays, sick leaves, employee rosters, shift rotations and similar databases
    5. Advise, coach and assist management in understanding legal aspects of human resources in planning organizational development and daily operation
    6. Support and administer all permitting and similar professional training and certification including fire hazard and safety training, forklift and other heavy machinery permits etc.
  1. 3.      Organizational and development
    1. Maintain and update the database of job descriptions in DPM Serbia and assist management in planning organizational structure to support daily operations and future development.
    2. Organize, coordinate and support management in recruitment including recruitment administration, advertisement drafting, connecting and contracting external agencies and recruitment partners, shortlisting, reference and background checking, interviewing, and maintaining communication with the potential employees and otherwise organizing the staff planning and recruitment process
  1. 4.      Employee relations
    1. Assist DPM management in employee negotiation and conflict resolution
    2. Act as a liaison between management and employees to ensure effective communication and support smooth daily operation
    3. Plan and implement projects improving employee engagement and liaison with Communication manager on improving employer branding.
    4. Maintain DPM’s positive reputation as a preferred employer (employer brand building), socially responsible company.
  1. Organizational Development and support
    1. Organize and administer performance management process
    2. Assist and coach DPM management through the performance management process
    3. Support management in training and development needs assessment and organize professional and skills development for managers and employees.
    4. Organize, monitor and liaison with all external training providers, consultants and assist logistics for organizational development
    5. Assist management in planning employee retention
    6. Organize assessment and report/update DPM management on organizational climate, culture, and employee engagement. Assist management in implementing recommendations for organizational development.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in similar position
  • University degree in Human resources, psychology, andragogy, and other Social studies or equivalent professional education and experience
  • Progressive responsibility (from administration and HR generalist to HR manager) and strong background in HR administration and HR support to the business function is a benefit
  • Business English language proficiency
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills,
