We are looking for Android Software Developers (both Medior and Senior level) to join our teams in Belgrade and Novi Sad.
Qualifications:
- Academic degree in Computer science, Informatics, Electrical engineering or similar qualification (BA or MA)
- 3+ years of experience and profound knowledge of Software development, especially for Android Applications (automotive experience is a plus, but not mandatory)
Job description:
- Designing and developing of Android applications for smart and autonomous vehicles
- Creating and optimizing architectures – Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM/MVI), Clean Architecture, modular applications
- Debugging and optimizing code with a focus on quality and performance
- Working with Android Software Development Kit (SDK), Android Open Source Project (AOSP), and Android Interface Definition Language (AIDL) at an advanced level
- Working with Java Native Interface (JNI) and C/C++ for hardware interaction
- Collaborating on developing Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs) for automotive applications
- Development for Android Automotive OS and Android Auto and integrating these technologies into infotainment systems
- Mentoring junior developers and support their growth
What we are looking for:
- Strong experience in Android development and familiarity with modern technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Kotlin and/or Java, including Coroutines, Flows, and Jetpack libraries
- Experience with Model-View-ViewModel (MVVM/MVI), Clean Architecture, and modular applications
- Hands-on experience with Android Open Source Project (AOSP), Android Interface Definition Language (AIDL), and Android Software Development Kit (SDK) at an advanced level
- Advantageous experience with: Java Native Interface (JNI), C/C++, Hardware Abstraction Layers (HALs)
- Experience in developing for Android Automotive OS or Android Auto is a big plus
- Ability to mentor a team of developers
- Ability to take responsibility for a project throughout its "Life Cycle"
- Active participation in code reviews
- Ability to lead discussions about possible solutions and bring new practices and innovations to the team
