Sales Engineer

Title:
Sales Engineer
Place in the organization:
- Reporting to the Country Manager / Sales Manager
Position Mission:
- To sale and service the Groups Core Equipment, achieving the Company’s annual projection targets for sales, turnover , profitability and market share in the range of products under responsibility
- Support the Country /Sales Manager with the development and implementation of territory management, marketing actions and tools, optimization of the organization, people management and training of employees and distributors
Responsibilities and objectives:
- Achieve profitable growth targets with high focus on sales, growing market share including customer share and consolidated profitability
- Realize, directly or in cooperation with others the whole sales cycle necessary to obtain the orders/purchase contract (identify opportunity, present proposal, negotiate and close the deal)
- Increase the market share in the assigned region
- Establish, develop and maintain relationship with customers through visits, telephone calls and correspondence including Key Customer Management.
- Consult with direct manager proposal details as pricing, type of product, parts and service, warranty
- Regularly weekly update data in internal database (visits, all correspondence such as emails, letters, faxes, proposals, orders, etc.)
- Monitor the market and competition - gather, evaluate and analyze information about the market;
- Share information about new potential business with management
- Participate in seminars, exhibitions and contribute to other marketing activities
- Report any information related to the competitor
- Tracking CMT equipment in operation (AC and Competition)
- Listing potential customers by product segment
- Identifying areas for growth
- Creating an action plan and reporting outcome on a regular basis
- Track the market shares (orders won- lost ) within the territory
- Support the AC Group’s vision “First in Mind, First in Choice” by nurturing a Customer-Value and a Customer-Care driven culture to put the Atlas Copco in a leading position.
- Customer satisfaction Development
- Provide monthly report to Direct Manager
Experience requirements:
- Experience in a Sales company, in Sales and Marketing related roles.
- Experience in working within the construction and mining or related industries
- Commercial and organizational experience
Knowledge:
- Excellent command of ( local language ) and English is a must.
- Good computer and presentation skills
- Driving license
Educational requirements:
- Preferably a degree/diploma in Engineering or at least 3 year’s experience in a similar position
Personality requirements:
- Team Player, promoting team spirit, fairness and respect for all individuals in the organization
- Excellent communication skills on all levels
- Strong customer focus, pro-active, result-oriented
- Ready to travel nationally and internationally on a regular basis
- Self motivated, energetic with high level of responsibility and loyality
