Senior Accountant

Job description

• Performs highly complex accounting work according to fiscal laws, accounting principles, established procedures and de-partmental guidelines
• Supervising all the accounting & financial operations to be in accordance with the legal stipulations in force.
• Assures compliance with state, local and corporate policies, regulations and laws.
• Prepare, supervise and check monthly cash flow, propose the increase/decrease of the loans
• Prepare domestic and foreign payment orders, any other documents required by the banks
• Supervise and checks the ingoing and outgoing payment runs
• Prepare and send out reminders to the clients , according to the internal dunning procedure
• Performing month-end/annual closing according to local and group’s deadline;
• Complete statutory accounting reports: VAT, Balance sheet, Income statement, cash-flows etc;
• Assist in the budgeting process;
• Represents the company in case of any tax audit from the financial authorities

Job requirements

• Finance/Accounting degree
• Professional experience in a production environment or accounting company at least 3 years
• Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and laws
• Fluent in English,
• Software: MS Office (Word, Excel ,Power Point) and SAP
• Precise and hard working person
• Willing to relocate to Subotica
