EHS Engineer

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• When building a new plant, set up the safety, environmental, and fire protection standards, lead the related procedures of environmental protection projects;
• Set up vocational protection system, including medical checks for high-risk positions, safety protection methods, etc.;
• Responsible for construction, operation, and improvement of the EHS management system (ISO14001 & OHSAS18001);
• Communicate with relevant government departments, put laws and regulations into daily management;
• Investigate the accident if any, find out the root cause, set up lesson-learn, and communicate with the government for any necessary actions to be taken;
• Manage the company's waste gas, wastewater, and waste residue to ensure all environmental-related indicators meet national or regional standards.
• Responsible for tracking and supervision of EHS improvement projects;

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS LEVEL

• College degree or above

WORK EXPERIENCE and other necessary abilities:

• Minimum 5 years of EHS-related experience 
• State exam for occupational health and safety
• State exam for fire protection
• Familiar with Serbian law, regulations and best practices for EHS
