Continental Wind Partners is a wind farm developer in Belgrade, Serbia. We design, develop, and manage the construction of wind farms. We are looking for a procurement specialist with a strong background in electrical engineering. You will assist with the procurement of all equipment and services required for the construction of the wind farm. In addition you will be able to understand and supervise the development of electrical, communication and control systems for the wind farm, from Nacelle to grid.

Duties:

• Supervise electrical system design for wind farm projects.
• Liaising with grid operators and experts to interpret requirements, developing scopes of work, compare options and define budgets.
• Defining interfaces between suppliers.
• Establishing grid compliance and defining options for suppliers.
• Assisting with all aspects of the tender process including comparing offers, drafting responses to questions from contractors and managing meetings.
• Evaluating and comparing offers from potential contractors.
• Supervising work from consultants or EPC contractors.

Mandatory Skills:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering is mandatory.
• Excellent spoken and written English. English is the primary language of communication in the CWP group.
• Work experience in an electrical systems context.
• Must have good computer skills.
• Ability to work under time pressure and communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the CWP group.
• This position is based out of our office in Belgrade, with occasional travel.

Helpful Skills:

• Procurement experience.
• Experience in negotiations or contract management in an engineering/construction context.
• Familiarity with wind energy systems and components and wind energy supply chain.
