Financial Controller

tinyBuild is a global video game publisher and developer focused on creating long-lasting, sustainable franchises across multiple media formats. Responsible for over 70 titles including Hello Neighbor, Graveyard Keeper, and Potion Craft, the company has a dozen development studios spread across the US, EU, Serbia, and Ukraine.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Belgrade.

This is a hybrid position with two working days a week required on-site in the Belgrade office. We are looking for a temporary maternity leave replacement (1-year contract)

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with external bookkeeping company in general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.
• Compile and analyze financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable financial rules and regulations.
• Manage the processing, recording, and payment of invoices and financial transactions.
• Prepare internal financial reports, ensuring they are accurate, timely, and in accordance with company policies.
• Work collaboratively with various departments, providing financial information, analysis, and support as needed.
• Maintain and organize the company's financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.
• Keep up to date with relevant legal, tax, and industry-specific regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• At least B2 in English and Serbian. Russian is considered a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently.
