Fundraising Manager

Qualifications:

• University Degree in International Relations, Development Studies, Political Science, Communications or other relevant area or university degree with relevant experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in an international organization and/or national CSO in fundraising activities and project development. 
• A least 5 years of experience in writing project proposals for various donors.
• Knowledge and experience of program design, implementation and evaluation.
• Knowledge of a broad range of donors including their methods, priorities, and the best ways of approaching them.
• Experience of raising funds from individual donors and designing of personal giving activities.
• Experience of raising funds from corporative donors and CSR strategies of major corporative donors.
• Experience in developing and managing a wide variety of successful fundraising events. 
• Experience in partnership building and maintaining at international, regional, national and local level.

Duties:

• Design, create and write new project proposals for various donors including bilateral, multilateral, individual, and corporate entities.
• Corporate fundraising and engaging the commercial sector in philanthropic activities. 
• Raising funds from individual donors and designing and organizing personal giving activities.
• Establish and maintain cooperative relationships with donors, relevant institutions, media, individuals, companies, CSOs etc. 
• Organize a wide variety of fundraising events in country and abroad.  
• Regular communication and reporting to various donors. 

Skills:

• Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills.
• Capacity to fundraise using information technologies and tools.
• Ability to organize and deliver when working under pressure and within changing circumstances.
• Time management with the ability to meet deadlines and coordination skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Valid driving license.
