Industrial Ecology Managing Director

Beo Eko Korak d.o.o. – Beočin, is a Lafarge daughter company with the major business in industrial ecology wich is one of the strategic values of the Cement Division. Companies main objective is to use alternative resources of energy (AF) and alternative raw materials (ARM) in order to reduce production costs, reduce usage of non – renewable resources and help protect the environment. Due to new business opportunity and development potentials at Beo Eko Korak, we are searching for a person with leadership values and strong entrepreneurial character for the position of:

 Industrial Ecology Managing Director

The Key role:

Selected candidate will suggest strategy in the country for market selection and conquest , develop and manage Beo Eko Korak organization to reach the goal of maximizing alternative fuel & alternative raw material supply to Lafarge, propose and implement budget, organize, lead, train and monitor the work of subordinates, organize and validate the reporting system, supervise the sales and propose any commercial development to achieve AF & ARM targets, handle market research and assesment of permanent waste market in Serbia (production, collection, disposal). Our candidate will manage the sourcing of AF & ARM, facilitate and coordinate in depth cooperation between the source organizations and the cement organization in charge of the co-processing of AF & ARM. S/He will be responsible for proposing development of projects in IE field, its supervision and realization, assures the relationship with the public bodies and authorities managing the waste business. Managing director reports directly to the board of Beo Eko Korak.

Requirements: 

• The successful candidate has a scientific or technical background, at least 3 – 5 years of management experience
• Capability to manage a business center (even small)
• Experience in waste management projects
• Good knowledge of market players, waste market practice and regulations
• Possesses great initiative and proactive attitude
• Capability of leading and motivating staff members
• Excellent communication skills
• Team spirit, dynamic person, interested in developing competences
• Good knowledge of English language and computer skills (MS Office) are mandatory
