We are looking for Maintenance Engineer to join our Maintenance team in Niš, Serbia.

General purpose of the position: To be overall responsible for maintaining the optimal set up of the industrial machinery and equipment on the production floor by regularly planning the scheduled machine maintenance activities. To fix and diagnose machinery breakdowns. To plan the inventory levels of spare parts and small tools needed for the repairs. To update, analyze and write reports on machinery logs. To collaborate with other stakeholders on environmental, health and safety protocols officers; to collaborate with the other units on safety issues.

Main duties and responsibilities: 

• Participates in the installation of new equipment
• Organizes and participates in all maintenance activities related to the production equipment in compliance with the requirements of the Quality and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) policies and at minimum cost to the organization
• Suggests a plan for supplying spare parts and additional tools for the equipment
• Organizes corrective and preventive activities in case of incoherence with the process and design requirements and makes analysis of the recurring problems with the production equipment
• Proposes practical application measures related to improving and updating the operation of equipment and infrastructure
• Ensures proper communication and implementation of necessary corrective actions
• Ensures proper communication and handling of issues related to the maintenance of the technological equipment in unplanned repairs

Requirements:

• University Engineering degree – electronics, automation or mechanical engineering preferably
• At least three years of related work experience
• Work experience at supervisory/specialist level an advantage
• Knowledge of equipment safety systems and processes
• Knowledge of engineering and quality standards
• Trouble-shooting skills
• Computer literacy (Microsoft, SAP and other necessary programs/applications)
• Proficiency in English; proficiency in another language an advantage
• Effective presentation skills
• Strong decision-making skills
