Quality Assurance Engineer

Old Country is currently seeking a:

Quality Assurance Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and testing new or modified software solutions
• Development and implementation of functionality and regression tests
• Performing functional, regression and acceptance tests
• Identifying, reporting, tracking and verifying issues in the issue tracking software
• Investigating problems reported by internal and external users, recommending solutions and working with the developers to fix the issue
• Tracking of reported problems and defects using tracking software
• Interpret error reports from clients, track the problem/defect and document accordingly

Required:

• Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Ability to perform in-depth analysis, troubleshooting and end to end testing
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Knowledge of HTML and CSS

Following skills will be considered an advantage:

• Working knowledge of MySql, PHP and JavaScript
• Experience with ticketing systems
• Experience with test automation
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
