• Visual Studio 2008/2010 development environments
• MS SQL server 2008 procedures, functions, SSIS packages and jobs
• Ajax based web applications
• Microsoft Team Foundation Server collaboration environment
• Microsoft LINQ and Microsoft Entity Framework 4.0
• Silverlight web applications (MVVM/MVC patterns)
• WCF 4.0 framework
• WWF 4.0 framework
• Multi-tier Windows WPF 3.5/4.0 applications
• AGILE/SCRUM development environments
• Multitasking applications
• IIS configuration and application protection modes
• UML modelling of processes and projects
• SharePoint 2007/2010 user experience

Key responsibilities include:

• Scope, analyze, define and plan software development processes in line with AGILE/SCRUM methodology
• Build robust, quality software utilizing all roles within the software services development life-cycle
• Respond to any urgent site bugs and software failures
• Respond to ad-hock data requests - uploading, modifying, removing data and ad-hock reporting
• Respond to platform upgrade requests, collect required information and document/share with the rest of the team
• Build software that adheres to the architecture and continuously contribute to evolving the architecture and tools that will assist to the development process
• Keep up to date with software tools and technologies by attending developer conferences, socializing in software circles and passing various Microsoft certifications (when required)
• Find innovative ways to utilize leading edge technology to solve business issues
• Complete other duties as and when assigned
