We are currently searching for

EHS Specialist

who will join our team in our plant in Sabac.

Main duties and responsibilities for this position include:

  • Organization, coordination and control of all activities related to health and safety at work, fire protection, environmental protection and security of facilities of the company
  • Active participation in equipping and planning of the workplace in order to ensure safe and healthy working conditions
  • Preparing document on risk assessment in accordance with legal regulations
  • Responsibility for the selection of adequate control, use, and maintenance of capital equipment, hazardous materials and instruments and equipment for personal protection at work
  • Equipping and arranging workplace in order to ensure safe and healthy working conditions
  • Organization of preventive and periodic testing of working environment and work equipment
  • Authorization to interrupt the production process in the event of danger to the safety and health of employees
  • Daily monitoring and control of implementation of measures for the safety and health of workers at work
  • The management of all types of waste that is generated
  • Regular monitoring and improvement of the situation in relation to occupational injuries and diseases as well as diseases related to work
  • Disciplinary and professional team management, especially the development and improvement of specific knowledge
  • Responsible for monitoring and, if necessary, corrective action for key performance indicators departments
  • Regular monitoring and evaluation of attitude to work, the performance of team members in accordance with internal standards
  • The implementation of defined measures of internal communication to team members
  • Constant monitoring of the laws and regulations in the field of safety and health at work, fire protection and environmental protection
  • Keeping all necessary records and reports on the orders of his superior and the requirements of state authority in the required form and content
  • Responsibility for compliance with the relevant legal regulations and internal acts of the employer

The skills and qualities that a EHS Specialist should have:

  • VI or VII level of Technical studies
  • An expert exam for fire protection
  • An expert exam for occupational safety and health
  • At least 2 year of experience at similar jobs
  • Excellent communicational skills
  • Learning and change agility
  • Has initiative and is able to work independently on a project and able to take responsibility for his/her work
  • Working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • Advanced English language knowledge
  • Experience in international company would be an advantage
  • Experience of implementation of ISO14001 and ISO 45001 would be an advantage
