Medical Representative - Montenegro

Job summary:

Main role of Medical Representative is to distribute scientific information to the medical community (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc) about the pharmaceutical products of the company. This person should effectively utilize knowledge of Merck products and promotional plans in achieving sales objectives.

Requirements:

• Successfully completed professional education at the university level of professional qualifications in pharmaceutical or medical science or equivalent
  
• Experience in the pharmaceutical field of business, primary care is an advantage
  
• Good knowledge of the Montenegrin market and customers
  
• Excellent computer skills
  
• Proficiency in local language and good knowledge of English language
  
• Valid driving license with driving experience

Main responsibilities:

• Maintain existing and acquisition of new customers (doctors of relevant specializations and pharmacists, as well as KOLs and management of relevant clinics) in her/his area of responsibility
  
• Follow marketing strategies for promoting Merck products according to existing internal and external Code of conduct in promotions of drugs to Health care professionals
  
• Monitoring and reporting of the activities of the competition (Market analysis)
  
• Organization of "round tables", meetings, symposia and workshops in her/his area and managing budgets
  
• Keeping detailed records of all contacts, which may involve database management
  
• Active contribution in the team meetings (regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings) and proposing new ideas to improve the performance of the team
  
• Collecting and delivering information on pharmacovigilance
  
• Prepare and submit all required reports according to the guidelines given in the format and time required
