DevOps Engineer

Position Summary:

The role is responsible for automation of software build and release processes to support continuous integration, continuous

deployment, execution of automated tests, and software quality checks, such as static code analysis. This position will also be responsible for configuration management portion of software projects, manage source control branches and off the shelf components.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement overarching software build and release strategy
• Design build and release pipelines to support continuous integration, continuous deployment, and execution of automated tests
• Integrate software development standards and quality-enabling tools, such as, code coverage, static and security code analysis, as part of CI builds
• Integrate software installer creation as a part of daily builds
• Create and maintain CI/CD infrastructure, on premise and in the cloud, to ensure compliance with internal processes and policies
• Monitor performance of pipelines and optimize as needed
• Contribute to configuration management process and deliverables
• Manage source code control branches for software projects
• Manage configuration and documentation for SOUP/OTS components
• Participate in continuous improvement of the Quality System and software development procedures

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum of 5 years of configuration management and DevOps experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science, Math, or Engineering or related field, or Associates degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps pipelines
• Experience with managing infrastructure in Azure
• Experience with different operating systems with emphasis on Microsoft Windows
• Experience with Git source-code control system
• Experience with applicable FDA regulations and ISO standards
• Ability to properly prioritize multiple tasks/projects
• Must be detail-oriented and analytical
• Must be team-oriented and motivated with the ability to self-manage, learn quickly, and maintain successful interdisciplinary relationships
