Job Description:
► Quality assurance for externally sourced parts for series production. ► Issuing and handling of complaints towards suppliers ► Perform on-site supplier visits for root cause analysis and verification of correction actions of supplier quality issues. Analyze effectiveness of supplier root cause and corrective actions to eliminate repeat issues ► Ensuring continues production flow in case of supplier quality issues ► Taking decision for restricted releases of series parts with deviations ► Responsibility for monitoring and charging back of defect costs ► Development of appropriate supplier quality improvement concepts and review supplier manufacturing processes. ► Working within interdisciplinary teams and the international purchasing organization ► Communication with international suppliers |
Qualifications:► University degree in mechanical engineering with focus on quality management methods or comparable degree ► Working experience in field of automotive business and quality management methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why) mandatory ► Proven problem-solving skills with an understanding of 8D methodologies to resolve issues: Demonstrates an advanced level of root-cause analysis ► Strong understanding of engineering requirements and mechanical and electrical inspection methods – ability to interpret drawings and specifications ► Experience in production processes (e.g. alu-die casting, injection moulding, progressive stamping, assembly, packaging materials, etc.) ► Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide concise direction in a dynamic manufacturing environment ► Good knowledge of English in business contexts (written and spoken) ► Good knowledge of the MS-Office applications, SAP advantageous |
