System Administrator

That is why we require a competent system administrator to join us and help grow our company by expanding the scope of our services. This is a full-time, remote, freelance position and requires between 3 and 10 years of previous work experience in system administration.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and optimize high-traffic web servers and infrastructure for adult websites
• Collaborate with other system administrators and the management to brainstorm and expand the scope of technical services provided with our hosting plans, including but not limited to DDoS protection, privacy protection, etc.
• Assist with the development of new technical services, their provision, and marketing to existing clients
• Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, network troubleshooting, group policies, and resource monitoring, to ensure the network components work flawlessly
• Ensure system security and implement the best data protection practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience in system administration)
• Willingness to work evening/night shifts and weekends
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Hands-on experience administering and maintaining the KVS (Kernel Video Sharing) platform
• Strong understanding of Linux system architecture and Bash scripting
• Experience with Nginx, PHP, and MySQL/MariaDB
• Strong knowledge of Linux distributions, including Ubuntu, AlmaLinux, and Debian
• Solid understanding of DNS and related tools (e.g., nslookup, dig)
• Network troubleshooting skills (e.g., mtr, ping, iptables, ss, ip, nmap)
• Experience with hosting control panels (cPanel/WHM, HestiaCP, SolusVM, Virtualizor, aaPanel)
• Experience with virtualization technologies (KVM, VNC)
• Ability to perform system administration tasks (disk management, networking, software maintenance)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good organizational skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment and with a productivity tracking  tool such as Time Doctor

Nice-to-haves:

• Basic understanding of WordPress (setup, configuration, and troubleshooting)
• Previous work experience with Cloudflare
• Experience with writing Bash/Python scripts
