Title Insurance PreProcessing/Processing Officer

About Us:

We are a U.S.-based title company specializing in investor transactions, wholesale deals, creative financing, and fast closings. We operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and are looking for someone who can take full ownership of files from opening to closing.

Role Overview:

You will manage title files from start to finish — opening files, gathering documentation, clearing title issues, and preparing files for closing.

This is not an entry-level role. You must have title processing experience and be comfortable working with investors, wholesalers, and mortgage lenders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and set up new title files
• Review purchase agreements for accuracy and completeness
• Order payoffs, tax certs, title searches, and municipal information
• Communicate with wholesalers, investors, lenders, buyers, and sellers
• Review title commitments and identify issues
• Clear title conditions (liens, judgments, probate, etc.)
• Work through complex investor transactions (assignments, double closes, etc.)
• Prepare settlement statements (HUD/CD) and closing packages
• Ensure files are fully cleared and ready for closing
• Manage multiple transactions and meet deadlines

Work Environment Expectations:

• Manage a large pipeline (200+ files per month)
• Handle high communication volume (100+ emails per day)
• Maintain organization, accuracy, and speed under pressure
• Proactively follow up to keep files moving toward closing

Requirements:

• Title processing experience required
• Experience working with wholesalers, real estate investors, and mortgage lenders
• Strong understanding of title commitments, liens, and curative work
• Ability to handle high-volume file management (100+ active files at once)
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-managed and able to work independently
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Reliable internet and work setup
