Tax & Legal Advisor

Location: Niš, Serbia

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Tax & Legal Advisor to join our dynamic team in Niš. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive tax and legal advisory services, ensuring full compliance with local regulations while supporting international clients on a wide range of corporate, tax, and legal matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal and tax advice on corporate, commercial, employment, and immigration matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents including corporate agreements, memos, and contracts.
• Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax compliance process.
• Prepare tax advisory reports, due diligence reports, tax reorganizations, transfer pricing documentation, and assist in obtaining tax rulings.
• Liaise independently with clients, government, and tax authorities to ensure timely completion of assignments.
• Monitor company compliance and update internal policies and procedures as required.
• Engage in cross-department collaboration and support business development initiatives, including preparation of proposals and presentations.
• Stay up to date with legal and tax developments affecting local and international business operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• University degree in Law or Economics
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in tax and/or legal advisory, preferably in an international or corporate environment.
• In-depth knowledge of Serbian tax law and familiarity with Serbian corporate and commercial law.
• Proven ability to work with multinational clients and manage complex cases independently.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Fluency in English is required
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer literacy.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with immigration and GDPR compliance will be considered an asset.
