Finance Specialist

Hellooo, we are looking for a Finance Specialist to join our team in Novi Sad.

Responsibilities:

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Finance Specialist to take on a variety of financial and administrative tasks, including:

• Gathering, organizing, producing, and recording various external and internal documents (invoices, bank statements, notifications, confirmations, etc.).
• Maintaining bookkeeping records, reconciliation, analysis, and eliminating discrepancies.
• Supporting the accounting department.
• Managing accounts receivable and payable.
• Recording all financial transactions.
• Issuing and keeping records of invoices.
• Handling payroll, expenses, and VAT.
• Procuring goods, consumables, and managing logistics.
• Communicating via email and phone with customers and suppliers.
• Corresponding with banks and tax authorities.
• Providing HR administration services such as contract production, tracking employee absences (holidays and sickness), and making changes in terms.
• Arranging travel for senior staff, including booking flights, cars, and hotel or restaurant reservations.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Submitting timely reports and preparing presentations as assigned.
• Performing other duties within the scope of the role as required by the company.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma (economics school), university degree in Economics, or equivalent work experience in a bookkeeping agency.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
• Language: Proficient in English
• IT Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel, experience with G Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets etc) , and general computer literacy.
• Technical Expertise: Experience with SEF, VAT calculation, payroll processing, and preparing documentation for final accounts.
• Personal Traits: Organized, communicative, and analytical, with strong prioritization skills, eagerness to learn, multitasking ability, and a proactive attitude.
