Position Summary

The Senior Warehouse Manager (Import / Export) is a senior operational role responsible for owning, controlling, and continuously optimizing international logistics and shipping operations for our Swiss warehouse.

We are looking for an experienced professional based in Belgrade who will manage and enhance the performance of an already operational warehouse in Switzerland and focus on B2C international shipments, delivery quality, timelines, and regulatory compliance. The role does not involve warehouse operations in Serbia.

This is a hands-on operational leadership position centered on process ownership, logistics optimization, and performance management—not a warehouse floor, infrastructure, or construction role.

Key Responsibilities

• Own international logistics and shipping operations for the Swiss warehouse, with a strong focus on B2C small-parcel shipments, delivery quality, timelines, and compliance.
• Optimize and standardize warehouse and shipping processes, monitor performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure full import/export and regulatory compliance, including customs documentation and coordination with brokers and carriers.
• Manage external logistics partners and vendors, track performance against KPIs/SLAs, and resolve shipment issues and delays.
• Monitor logistics KPIs and reporting, providing regular performance updates and supporting shipment volume scaling.
• Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, customer support, and operations teams, acting as the owner of logistics-related problem-solving.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or international shipping roles
• Hands-on international shipping experience (mandatory), with a strong focus on:
• B2C (direct-to-consumer) shipments
• Small-parcel logistics (not limited to large B2B cargo)
• Solid understanding of international shipping regulations, customs documentation, and procedures
• Proven ability to manage, optimize, and scale existing warehouse and logistics operations (not a greenfield setup)
• Experience working with external logistics providers, shipping carriers, and warehouse partners
• Familiarity with project management and tracking tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or similar)
• Independent, ownership-driven operator able to fully own logistics operations and work effectively with international teams and partners.
• Highly proactive self-starter who thrives in a startup or scale-up environment, takes initiative, and drives outcomes without close supervision.
