We are looking for new team members who will shape the future of our new Corporate Finance Shared Service Center (CFSSC) in Novi Sad. As the CFSSC is being established, there is a greater opportunity to contribute to process improvement, operation optimization, and implementation of market best practices.

Join us as an AP & Payment Processing Accountant!

Responsibilities:

  • Weekly creation of domestic and international payment runs with subsequent upload into the bank
  • Validation, fulfillment, and management of manual/one-time payments
  • Daily clearing of bank receipts and payments against Vendor invoices
  • Investigation and resolution of unallocated payments or discrepancies
  • Management and actioning of Cash pool fund requests and reconciliation
  • Bank account management and reconciliation
  • Prepare and process payments to vendors and suppliers, ensuring that payments are made on time and in accordance with company policies
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise
  • Maintain accurate and complete records of all accounts payable transactions, including invoices, payments, and related documentation
  • Respond to inquiries from vendors, suppliers, and internal staff regarding invoice and payment status
  • Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance with legal and industry requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient payment processes
  • Performs other operational tasks as instructed by the immediate supervisor

Requirements:

  • Experience in AP, Payment Processing, or a similar role
  • Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting/business administration
  • Experience with SAP and the MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and processes
  • Strong mathematical and numerical aptitude
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in English
