Job Description:
The Analyst Administrator administers and supports software systems used for physical security, including access control and video surveillance systems. The role involves system configuration, data analysis, reporting, internal investigations, and interaction with software vendors and internal stakeholders to enhance the effectiveness and reliability of security processes.
Key responsibilities:
- Administration of physical security software systems, including:
- Access Control Systems (ACS);
- Video Surveillance Systems;
- Related and auxiliary security systems;
- Integrated platforms combining multiple security systems.
- Configuration, support, and optimization of security software:
- User-level configuration and system settings;
- Maintenance and updating of databases used by the software;
- Adaptation of system settings due to changes in business tasks, security regimes, or software updates.
- Data analysis and reporting:
- Preparation of regular and ad-hoc reports based on system data;
- Analysis of statistical data to identify system failures, vulnerabilities, and security violations;
- Development of recommendations to optimize security processes and system settings.
- Analytical investigations:
- Conducting internal investigations using software data;
- Reconstruction of event sequences;
- Identification of involved persons and objects;
- Preparation of analytical materials for security management and company leadership.
- Interaction with software contractors and vendors:
- Preparation of technical tasks for initial setup, customization, and software development;
- Monitoring and control of task execution;
- Participation in testing and acceptance of completed work.
- Monitoring system performance:
- Daily and periodic checks of correct system operation;
- Identification of software errors, incorrect settings, and the need for adjustments;
- Initiation of corrective actions.
- Internal administrative interaction:
- Communication with internal departments;
- Management of the security department’s email correspondence;
- Preparation of reports and analytical materials upon request;
- Participation in departmental budgeting and expense reporting.
- Documentation and contractor management:
- Correspondence with contractors and service providers;
- Support of contracts (conclusion and execution);
- Participation in document management processes of the department.
Required qualifications and experience:
- No strict education requirements; technical education (IT, automation, or related fields) is preferred;
- Experience working with physical security systems (access control, video surveillance, integrated security platforms) is an advantage;
- Understanding of physical and corporate security processes is an advantage;
- Experience interacting with IT vendors and contractors is an advantage;
- Experience preparing analytical reports for management is an advantage;
- Strong ability to understand and navigate software user interfaces;
- Capability to become an expert user of software systems and utilize their full functionality;
- Confident user of:
- Microsoft Word;
- Microsoft Excel (including data tables and analysis);
- Email and electronic document management systems;
- Accurate and careful work with databases;
- Analytical mindset and attention to detail;
- Ability to work with large volumes of information;
- Structured and disciplined working approach;
- Strong task completion skills.
