Consultant in Tax Technology and Automation team
About the Role:
The Tax Technology team at PwC is seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy professional to drive digital transformation and automation across tax, finance, and payroll processes. The ideal candidate will take ownership of a diverse portfolio of automation projects, ERP implementations, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage automation projects using Data Analytics tools, streamlining accounting, tax, and payroll workflows to improve efficiency and data quality.
- Act as a primary contact for digital engagements, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and facilitating alignment sessions.
- Oversee ERP implementation and upgrades, including planning, contracting, progress monitoring, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with vendors to manage system functionalities, cost specifications, upgrades, and compliance requirements.
- Oversee the administrative management of ERP systems, including handling contracts, maintaining, and renewing licenses, and coordinating all related vendor and compliance activities.
- Ensure deep familiarity with ERP platforms used by the company, taking responsibility for onboarding new clients by setting up databases, migrating client data, and configuring systems to meet operational requirements.
- Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to define and standardize business processes, resulting in significant efficiency gains.
- Support proposal development and executive-level reporting, contributing to strategic growth.
- Maintain and enhance tools for secure remote access and compliance.
- Identify and pursue new automation opportunities in tax, payroll and accounting.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience, minim 2 years, in business process automation, analytics, and reporting (e.g., Alteryx, Microsoft Power Platform, BI Tools).
- Have ability to collect and analyze information, problem-solve, and make decisions.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with the ability to connect data to business outcomes.
- Strong background in ERP systems (implementation, migration, and upgrades), especially in accounting, finance, tax, HR, and payroll domains.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to translate business needs into structured delivery plans and actionable steps.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- A capability to be a true team player, and at the same time being able to work independently.
- High proficiency in English.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Informatics, or related field.
