This role requires a clear communicator who can work efficiently, solve problems quickly, and maintain professionalism while interacting with carriers, dispatchers, and drivers in a fast-paced logistics environment. 

Responsibilities 

• Book loads with qualified carriers based on customer requirements and available capacity.
• Negotiate rates and sell loads using DAT and lane history to evaluate market pricing.
• Enter and maintain accurate load details in the softwareto ensure all information is current and complete.
• Track shipments from pickup to delivery and provide timely updates on load status.
• Communicate with carriers and dispatchers to confirm schedules, resolve issues, and ensure smooth execution of each load.
• Close out completed loads by verifying delivery information and updating the softwar and internal records.
• Support general brokerage operations, including documentation, scheduling, and load coordination.
• Assist with carrier sales activities, including developing carrier relationships when needed.

Qualifications 

• Minimum 1 year of experience in U.S. freight brokerage, carrier sales, dispatching, or logistics coordination.
• Ability to negotiate freight rates confidently and professionally.
• Experience using load boards such as DAT and analyzing lane history to support rate negotiation.
• Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work well under pressure.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle unexpected situations.
• Proactive, responsible, and self-driven work ethic.
