IT Specialist

We are looking for an IT Specialist to join our dynamic team in Belgrade, Serbia.

As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for managing digital systems and technologies to efficiently operate and manage all logistics services. Your knowledge and work will contribute to ensuring that all operations, including warehousing, transportation, last mile, freight forwarding, and other functions, operate safely and continuously through our software solutions, network, and hardware.

You will constantly monitor and verify the software system, implementing appropriate updates and improvements with a constant focus on implementing security measures, various testing, and adjustments through the development of crisis management plans and training employees on the latest security practices.

• IT Management, Planning, organizing, controlling, and evaluating IT operations and electronic data.
• Data Security, Implementing measures to protect data, network access, and backup systems.
• Team Management, Recruiting, training, and leading the IT team.
• System Design, Development, and Implementation, Coordinating and managing the design, development, and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures.
• Strategic Planning, Identifying technological needs and creating a technology plan that aligns with organizational goals.
• System Auditing, Conducting and analyzing system audits.
• Budget Management, Managing the annual budget and ensuring cost efficiency.
• IT Investment Consulting, Advising on future IT investments and recommendations for senior management.
• Software and System Maintenance, Identifying opportunities for improvement and updating software and systems.
• Customer Relations
• Vendor Management, Managing relationships with external vendors and service providers.
• Compliance, Ensuring IT practices comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
• Disaster Recovery Planning, Developing and implementing disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Performance Monitoring, Monitoring the performance of IT systems and infrastructure.
• Innovation, Staying updated with the latest technology trends and innovations to keep the organization competitive.
• Training and Development, Providing training and development opportunities for IT staff to enhance their skills.
• Project Management, Overseeing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Documentation, Maintaining comprehensive documentation of IT systems, processes, and policies.
• Problem Resolution, Quickly addressing and resolving IT issues to minimize downtime.
• Stakeholder Communication, Communicating effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and ensure IT solutions meet business objectives.

To qualify for the role, you must have:

• Graduate study programs at the Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics, or other faculties and IT academies.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably experience in the IT field in sectors related to the supply chain or logistics industry.
• Good knowledge of several programming languages: Python, and/or JavaScript, C#, SQL, C++,
• Good knowledge of software tools and platforms (Jira, Asana..)
• Good knowledge of testing software (Postman, ..)
• Network technologies (VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, network security)
• Cloud platforms: AWS, Mcr Azure,
• Good knowledge of English.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong ability to persuade, motivate and influence others.
