WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Airworthiness/Regulatory Compliance Specialist

TASKS

• Ensuring the conditions for keeping the existing approvals and/or obtaining new approvals from the various aviation authorities to support the company's objectives
• Apply for authority approvals, manage and monitor their validity, if necessary independently initiate the necessary measures
• Monitoring of the regulations of the various aviation authorities, and initiate the integration of the modified regulations into the manuals
• Informing of the quality managers about upcoming legislative changes and the development of proposals for the implementation of these changes or of measures for the timely influence on the Decision-making by authorities or committees
• Preparation, support and evaluation of authority audits
• Ensuring continuous evaluation of audit results, identification of improvement potentials and development of implementation suggestions
• Continuous monitoring of the implementation and effectiveness of adjustments and preventive measures from the audits
• Continuous improvement of the assigned subject area with regard to efficiency and conformity of the processes 
• Independent coordination of audit and aviation law contents within the MTU group with the respective coordinators 
• Organizing, performing and analyzing internal and cross locational audits
• Preparation, implementation and execution of employee training / education in aviation regulations
• Independent execution of cross-functional projects in the subject area represented by him/her
• Representation of organizational interests or MTU Maintenance in internal and external projects, working groups and committees 
• Communication of regulatory and process changes within the company

REQUIREMENTS

• University degree
• ISO 9001: 2015 (certificate) Preferably ISO 19011:2018 (certificate)
• Audit experience
• Audit experience in an aerospace industry desired
• Technical and process knowledge for audits and process assessment. Broad knowledge of general and aviation quality standards and aviation law (FAR / EASA 145)
• Very good computer skills (MS Office), desired SAP
• Ability to analyze, evaluate and improve processes.
• Methodological knowledge, for example: moderation techniques, goal-oriented meetings, presentation techniques, project management techniques
• Organizational ability, assertiveness, teamwork, communication skills, oriented thinking and acting on goals and processes
• Availability for business trips
• English- conversational level
