Anti-Money Laundering and Compliance Consultant

Fincap Law in Belgrade is currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join us in our cooperation with Fincap Law LLP from London.

The candidate for the Consultant position will be assisting the Fincap team with anti-money laundering procedures. Fincap’s clients are primarily in the private equity sphere, and as a firm we are keen to push technology as a route to streamline our services and make us more efficient.

The job duties will include:

• provides support in updating documents relating to the AML area in accordance with relevant regulations
• collecting data on clients and transactions, as well as other data relevant to the detection and prevention of money laundering and terrorist firnancing
• recording and monitoring the business activity of clients whose transactions are assessed as suspicious
• controlling the manner of customer identification in accordance with relevant regulations
• preparing control reports on executed transactions
• receiving reports on suspicious transactions, assessing the grounds for suspicion and takes measures 
• active cooperation with seniors in the compliance team

Required qualifications for this position are:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law or Political Science
• Excellent attention to detail
• Experience in drafting and negotiating agreements
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to use initiative
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
• Self-motivated
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office, Word, Excel)
• Flexible and adaptable to work demands
• Fluent or highly proficient spoken and written English
