BI Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing and testing high quality Business Inteligence solutions
• Performing logical and physical data modelling in line with architecture guidelines
• Identification and integration of new data sources
• Design and implement new ETL development
• Design and Development of OLAP applications
• Identify and perform performance tuning opportunities, optimize Data Integration and Business Intelligence applications
• Analyze Data Quality issues and participate in resolving
• Propose best practices/standards
• Maintain high level of competence in Analytics Area
• Preparing development specifications for external vendors and outsourcing companies, manage and perform development with external vendors when needed

For a good start, you will need:

• University degree in Computer science or related
• Knowledge of Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
• Knowledge of the Oracle ETL technology and tools (OWB, ODI) is advantage
• Knowledge of analytical querying extensions is advantage
• Understanding of relational and multi-dimensional data design and development techniques
• Experience in: analyzing, designing, automating and optimizing ETL and BI reporting processes

Will be a plus:

• Ability to design and develop scalable Big data architecture
• Experience with major Big data technologies and frameworks like Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, Cassandra, Flink, Kafka, Nifi
• Knowledge of designing, implementing and deploying high-performance, custom applications at scale on Hadoop
• Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Scala, Python or Java
• Knowledge of Apache Spark
• Experience with creating Scala or Python Spark jobs for data transformation and aggregation
• Experience in client-driven large-scale implementation projects
• Data Science and Analytics experience (Machine Learning, Recommendation Engines, Search Personalization)
• Understanding of Agile (Scrum)
• Experience with large Business Analytics systems technology, configurations, planning capacities and performance
