Backend Developer
Job summary:
- Developing and maintaining, as well as building new applications based on provided requirements;
- Our team practices agile, fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between product, engineering and QA.
Key qualifications:
- BSc in Computer Science, Mathematics or equivalent experience;
- Strong knowledge of Java and OOP;
- Strong experience with SQL and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL)
- Knowledge of Hibernate and/or other ORM frameworks;
- Knowledge of Spring framework;
- Experience with developing and consuming REST APIs;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- 3+ years of experience.
Skills that will be considered as an advantage:
- Experience with Redis;
- Experience with AWS or other cloud providers;
- Experience working with distributed systems;
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team;
- Thinking outside the box, learning from co-workers and sharing information and experiences;
- Good command of the English language, both written and spoken.
