Chief Accountant
Our client is an international EMS company with diversified industries’ clients throughout Europe. Due to the expansion of their local business, we are looking for a reliable and committed candidates for the following position:
CHIEF ACCOUNTANT
Location: Niš
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing and control of correctness of accounting operations, following of accounting discipline, documentation flow, registrations of documents, etc.
- Managing the company monthly closing process and the fiscal period-end closing
- Submission on time, accurately all financial reports to tax authorities
- Passing tax and audit check-ups, solving disputable questions with the tax authorities
- Direct cooperation with internal and external controls, tax authorities and auditors
- Controlling of inventory movements from finance and accounting perspective
- Continuous monitoring of legal regulations from the domain and competence and getting to know management and other employees about their changes
- Cooperation and coordination with other departments
- Support the CFO and the Site CEO with accounting and tax related maters
Required Skills and Experience:
- University degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and/or Public Accountant (PA) license will be taken as an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Chief Accountant or Senior Accountant role
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (including experience in closing books and submitting statutory financial and tax reports) in production company
- Excellent knowledge of the IFRS and Serbian accounting and tax law
- Advanced knowledge of the work in the MS Office package
- Good knowledge of the English language
- Accurate, serious, responsible, independent, result-oriented, with attention to details, communicative and team work oriented accounting professional
- Working experience from the international and/or export-oriented company as well as the experience of working in Pantheon will be considered as an advantage
