We are looking for: Chief Accountant, in Accounting Shared Services Company.

Main responsibilities:

Preparation of annual financial statements and accounting according to Serbian, Croatian and Slovenian Accounting Standards and IFRS
Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting to the group, according to IFRS
Development, organization and coordination of accounting department
Responsibility for timely and correct accounting of all accounting operations and ensure compliance with the statutory and group accounting and tax deadlines
Preparation of monthly VAT returns and validation annual corporate income tax returns in co-operation with external tax advisors
Monitoring of legislative changes related to accounting and taxes in Serbia, Slovenia and Croatia
Cooperation with local advisors in Serbia, Croatia and Slovenia
Contact person for HQ in Vienna
Contact person for the local auditors
Leading role in local and group wide projects

Requirements:

Experienced team leader within a multi-legislative operating shared services company offering accounting services
Excellent knowledge of the English language; Slovenian language will be considered as an asset
Well understanding of bookkeeping (ERP) solutions, ideally relevant project experience with the implementation of new ERP solutions
Capability to organize and manage teams to meet simultaneous deadlines
Very good knowledge of MS Office and Excel
