Subsidiary of multinational company "Dole Packaged Foods Europe", with operations in Serbia in areas of fruit production is hiring: 

Chief Accountant Belgrade

With fallowing requirements:

• a university degree in economics or other related financial and accounting studies
• minimum 5 years of experience in accounting in international environment
• excellent knowledge of statutory accounting, IAS/IFRS
• experienced in financial reporting, financial data analysis, taxation
• with strong analytical skills, detail-oriented
• experience in production cost calculation
• with positive "can do" and problem-solving attitude

Responsibilities:

• effective and accurate accounting, invoicing, taxes and support to financial function
• cost control and application of relevant internal processes
• providing relevant financial information and regular reporting to management
• preparation and reviewing of all accounting documents and maintenance of financial data bases
• preparation of journal entries, maintenance of financial statements and ledgers
• desirable experience in reporting according to IFRS and US GAAP
• monthly closures, salary administration, analysis of accounts and AR/AP/banks reconciliation
• management of financial reporting systems
• cooperation with auditors and external partners
